Holistic Facial

This luxurious Facial brings out the best in your skin. I use hot towels and natural organic products, alongside a tailored range of techniques which may include gua sha, facial massage, reflex points, smudging or tailored visualisation to support your goals in life.

A holistic facial is wonderfully relaxing, pampering treat that will leave you feeling truly special. A combination of gentle massage and natural organic products help boost the circulation to your skin, increase detoxing and help your skin to appear plumped up and glowing.

Whilst a holistic facial will have benefits for your appearance, a holistic facial is a great way to help relieve tension that builds up in the forehead and temples and can help to alleviate headaches and muscle tension.

It combines the benefits and techniques of a traditional facial with the relaxing effects of a specially blended oil and the balancing effects of reflexology points, massage and crystals. The natural products help improve the condition of the skin, and the therapeutic massage and touch aim to improve skin tone and texture through increased circulation, leaving skin glowing. This treatment will improve your complexion and ease away stress leaving you feeling pampered and with an increased sense of well-being.

What can I expect during a Holistic Facial?

Your Holistic Facial is a 60-minute treatment which will begin after a brief consultation to establish skin type and any problems you would like to address.

Products and massage techniques will be chosen to meet your individual needs and requirements. Hot towels are used throughout to bring a wonderful comforting sensation that is truly relaxing.

The treatment begins with a refreshing deep cleanse of the face, neck and shoulders, followed by a refining exfoliation.

Depending on the needs of your skin, the treatment will continue with a combination of techniques which may include gua sha, crystals, facial cupping, reflexology or facial massage to refine and sculpt the face and provide lymphatic drainage.

This will bring a deep sense of relaxation as tension is eased away. This is followed by a luxurious nourishing mask which is left to absorb while the scalp is massaged. The facial concludes with an application of hydrating moisturiser and replenishing eye serum.

Ear Candling

The ancient practice of Ear Candling has been used by many ancient cultures around the globe for centuries, including the Aztec, Chinese, Tibetans and Egyptians. Ear Candles were used for cleansing, purifying and also spiritual healing.

Ear candles are hollow tubes made of organic cotton, impregnated with beeswax, herbs, therapeutic oils and honey. The end of the candle is gently placed in your outer ear and lit. The candle acts like a chimney, causing the warm air inside it to rise and creating a vacuum at the bottom. This vacuum gently stimulates the ear, facilitating removal of excess wax and impurities. While it is often assumed that the candle sucks wax out of the ear, it simply stimulates the ear to eliminate the wax naturally in its own time. The action is gentle and suitable for children.

The therapeutic vapours gently enter the ear and the physiological and psychological benefits from inhaing the vapour can trigger a positive mental state and deep relaxation.

Each treatment Includes lymphatic drainage with facial cupping.

It can be done over clothing if you prefer, and can be done more or less anywhere and everywhere. This means relaxation and holistic wellness are accessible for everyone. It originates from an Indian holistic system called Ayurveda. This system believes that the mind and body are intricately connected and can influence one another. It suggests that Indian head massage can reduce headaches and improve physical well-being. In addition, it claims that it can also improve mental and emotional wellness.

Indian head massage focuses on the upper back, shoulders, neck, head and face.
