About Me

Here to help you feel amazing!

Michele Rigby MA HDipCT (VCTC) MAR

I’ve been practicing reflexology since 2017, and I continue to be amazed by how holistic and natural approaches can profoundly support our well-being.

My mission is simple: to provide a caring, welcoming, and professional service that helps you relax, eases stress, and leaves you feeling renewed and fantastic.

My journey into holistic healing was sparked by my early life experiences, filled with adventures and travel to some of the world’s most remote places. Along the way, I encountered traditional cultures where health and well-being were deeply rooted in natural practices, with remedies that were integral to daily life. I was especially moved by the generosity of the people I met, who openly shared their knowledge and time.

One of the most memorable moments took place in rural China, where I had the opportunity to accompany a local doctor on his rounds. I witnessed firsthand how traditional healing methods worked alongside modern medicine, particularly in areas where clinical resources were scarce. This experience ignited my passion for holistic healing.

Following these experiences, I found my career in the charitable sector, leading several organisations as Chief Executive. However, my early experiences remained in my memories, and after almost four decades, I felt it was time to follow this passion more formally. I trained as a reflexologist and eventually transitioned into a full-time career as a therapist.

Through continuous learning, I discovered that reflexology is not limited to the feet—it’s just as effective on the face and head as well as ears and hands. I expanded my skills to include pregnancy and fertility reflexology, and I provide support for those facing life-limiting illnesses. I’m also trained in natural, holistic face-lifting techniques rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, such as the transformative art of Gua Sha and cupping.

Today, I offer a variety of treatments designed to rejuvenate your body, mind, and spirit. These include Reflexology, Facial Reflexology, Cranial Reflexology, Ear Seeds, Reiki, Zone Face Lift, Gua Sha Face Lift, Facial Cupping, Cranial Gua Sha, Head & Scalp Massage, Ear Candling, Thai Herbal Poultices and Emotional Freedom Technique.

At Reflexology by Michele, you’ll receive a personalized and nurturing session dedicated to supporting your well-being and health.

I’m proud to be a member of the Association of Reflexologists, adhering to their professional code of practice and committed to ongoing development to ensure the highest standard of care for every client.

Speak in Confidence

Counselling takes place in a safe space, where you can meet with someone who will listen with sensitivity and empathy - and without judgement. In the therapy space thoughts and feelings can be expressed freely and in confidence.

A problem shared...

Trouble with a relationship; anxiety or panic attacks; mood swings or depression - many people face difficulties in their everyday lives that can be hard to get on top of. Counselling gives us a set of tools we can use to help gain a better understanding of what’s causing these problems - and how you can move towards managing or resolving them.

Make better, healthier new choices

Working together I can help you gain greater insight into the difficulties you are facing, help you understand why you act or react to them the way you do, and see how you can start to make better, heathier choices moving forward.

What issues can counselling help with?

People come to me for help a wide range of issues. Here are a few of the more common difficulties that can be supported through counselling:
